Nargis Fakhri, who made her acting debut in 2011 with Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar opposite Ranbir Kapoor, has indeed come a long way in Bollywood. While she was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, her performance in the film got negative feedback. A major section of the audience was unhappy with her acting and even commented on her 'plumped' lips. However, Nargis, who is known for being sassy in real life, shut down the trollers with a bold reply. 

In 2012, during an interview, the actress opened up about the reactions she got for Rockstar and people talking about her lips. She said, "Well, I don’t know what to say to that. Seriously. If I had really big bo*bs, people would talk about my bo*bs. I guess they haven’t seen my b*tt. It’s really big too. But it was well hidden in those Patiala salwars that I wore in Rockstar. If they saw my b*m, which is bigger than my lips, they’d only be talking about that. Because I was covered throughout the film, they couldn’t pick on anything else. So I don’t really care about all this".

According to a Koimoi report, at that time, Nargis also revealed that she isn't very confident about her nose and added, "Thank God they didn’t say anything about my nose! I actually have a complex about my nose".

For the uninitiated, Rockstar revolves around Janardhan (played by Ranbir) who seeks inspiration for the musician inside him. While heartbreak helps him become a rockstar, it also leads him to self-destruction. Nargis played the role of Janardhan aka Jordan's love interest Heer. While Ranbir received rave reviews for his strong performance in the film, moviegoers weren't happy with Nargis' acting. Rockstar did well at the box office and its music album was loved by everyone.  

After the success of Rockstar, Nargis went on to be a part of hit films like Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero, Housefull 3 among others.
