Love has a strange way of finding people and in the world of entertainment, while some stars look for that someone special, others fall prey to infidelity and find love elsewhere. Back in 2009, the industry down south was shaken with the news of Prabhudeva, who is known as the Michael Jackson India, and actress Nayanthara’s alleged love story.

The story of their affair rocked their life and the life of director-actor’s family, especially his wife Ramlath, who blamed Nayanthara for their ugly divorce and even cursed her.

The couple started making public appearances and soon it felt like the two would eventually get together. Prabhudeva ended his 16 year old marriage and after a hefty alimony, separated from his wife. The sad twist in the tale came right after. Prabhu and Nayanthara’s relationship took a sour turn and they too sadly called it quits! This obviously got the industry talking. During an interview with TOI, Nayanthara opened up about her split with Prabhudeva and admitted that her life was shattered post the break up.

"To get into a break-up for anyone is the most difficult phase in their life. When you have to go away from someone you love or vice-versa, whatever the reason, it really shatters your life. But how you deal with it is important. I can't get into how I dealt with it but I have to if I want to move on and live my life”, she said. She even altered the tattoo she had got made on her forearm for her lover. While the reason for their split was never reveald by either of them, both have moved on in life and it is believed that the actress may tie the knot with beau Vignesh Shivan soon.
