Why Anushka Sharma Rejected Movies With Jr NTR, Allu Arjun & Mahesh Babu

The division between Tollywood and Bollywood is finally becoming a blurred line as superstars and directors from both the industries are participating in the cross-pollination of the talent pool. From blockbusters like Arjun Reddy being made in Bollywood, to stars like Ram Charan and Jr. NTR starring with Alia Bhatt in pan-India projects like RRR, the horizon for entertainment business has naturally expanded. Star names like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun need no introduction and actors usually are excited to take up a project with them.

However, back in the period between 2011-2014, when Tollywood directors were looking to cast Bollywood actresses in lead roles opposite Tollywood actors, the scope was actually limited. Mostly, fee structure and date issues were common problems faced by producers down South. According to a Filmi Beat report , actress Anushka Sharma was offered several big projects as well. She was offered a project with Jr. NTR, then she was also approached for a film with Allu Arjun. While the names of the projects are not known, it is known that she was also unavailable for a project with Prince of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu, and was offered Agadu.
