More than two years after the release of Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone returned to our screens with Shakun Batra’s third directorial Gehraiyaan. Even though she did feature in a special appearance in Kabir Khan’s 83, Gehraiyaan marks her first full fledged role in a film in over two years. 

The trailer of the film had received positive response from the audience and the film was keenly awaited. However, post the release, the response from the social media users have been mixed and so are the reviews. 

Amidst the varied reactions that the film has received on social media, one eagle-eyed fan spotted Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone in a scene in Gehraiyaan and shared the screenshot of the same on social media.

For those unaware, there is a scene in the film where Deepika returns to her holiday home after decades and is seen checking out her childhood pictures on the wall. One picture among them is Deepika’s actual childhood picture also featuring her sister Anisha. 

The social media user also shared the original picture along with a screenshot of the scene and wrote, “Love that #Gehraiyaan put a portrait of Anisha and Deepika Padukone among the family portraits!”
