Back in 1995, Madhuri Dixit starred alongside Sanjay Kapoor in the Indra Kumar directorial Raja. The film was a huge blockbuster and the songs, especially, Akhiyaan Milaoon Kabhi became an iconic hit. 

Now, 27 years later, Madhuri and Sanjay took us back to the glorious ‘90s as they recreated the iconic dance number recently at Dr Sriram Nene’s birthday bash.

Sanjay Kapoor took to Instagram and shared a video that is 1-minute-and-11-seconds in length. In the video, he can be seen dancing with Madhuri as the two groove to Akhiyaan Milaoon Kabhi. 

Also, in the video are Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza dancing alongside the duo.

As soon as the video was uploaded, a lot of fans took a trip down memory lane and mentioned their respective characters names from the 1995 film. 

Celebs too weren’t left behind as Neelam wrote, “Fabbb”, Sonal Chauhan commented, “Omggg. This is gold”. 

One fan commented, “Best thing on Instagram today”. Another wrote, “Wow so beautiful moments”.

Interestingly, Sanjay Kapoor had also danced on the same song in the 2019 hit Mission Mangal.

Besides Raja, Madhuri and Sanjay also worked together in the 1997 film Mohabbat. They are all set to reunite after 25 years with the Netflix series The Fame Game. In the show, Madhuri & Sanjay will be playing husband and wife.
