‘Rula Diya’, Shreyas Talpade’s ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe’ Trailer Is Making Cricket Fans Emotional


Seems like it’s raining sports movies in Bollywood lately, particularly movies based on cricket, with Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey and Ranveer Singh’s 83 releasing back to back. 

It isn’t a surprise since cricket for Indians is more than sport, it’s an emotion.

Now, the trailer of another cricket film has fans of the sports excited. 

Shreyas Talpade’s Kaun Pravin Tambe is all set to release on OTT platform DisneyPlus Hotstar and the trailer of the film is out.

For those who don’t know, Pravin Tambe is an Indian cricketer who made his debut on the field at the age of 41 when he played the IPL for Rajasthan Royals. 

This film is his biopic that maps his journey, struggles and dedication to the sport.

People are impressed by the trailer and lauding the makers for telling Tambe’s inspiring story. They also loved the fact that Shreyas was cast for the role. 

Seeing the actor playing the skipper refreshed their memories of Iqbal, another sports flick that he was loved in by fans.

The opening and ending scenes of the trailer are being talked about the most in the comment section. The legendary cricketer Rahul Dravid introduces Tambe as a cricketer who has inspired him in the opening shot, while the last scene where Talpade tears off the bandage from his leg has gotten people emotional and hailing the dedication of Tambe.

The film is set to release on 1st April 2022.
