Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, was released last week amidst huge buzz and expectations. However, the pan-Indian film has been receiving a mixed response from critics as well as fans. While the movie is performing well in the South market, it has turned out to be a huge flop in the Hindi belts.

In a shocking incident, the Baahubali star's die-hard fan has ended his life by committing suicide. He was reportedly furious with Prabhas' recently-released film, Radhe Shyam, which received negative reviews and resolved to take his life. The sad incident took place in Tilak Nagar, in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. 

The 24-year-old fan died by suicide by hanging himself at his home. Before hanging himself, he reportedly told his mother about the film's negative reviews. After hearing the news, the police rushed to the spot, and an inquiry was launched.

Ravi was a daily-wage labourer in Kurnool and his death has shocked everyone. May his soul rest in peace!

For the unversed, Radhe Shyam had been in the works for nearly three years. After facing several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie was finally released on March 11. Across the country, Prabhas' fans flocked to theatres to commemorate the day by building cutouts and exploding crackers.

In Radhe Shyam, Prabhas has portrayed the role of a palmist whose prophecies are never wrong. Things change, though, when he falls in love with Pooja Hegde and the story took a tragic turn. Besides Prabhas and Pooja, the film also features Sachin Khedekar, Kunal Roy Kapur, Priyadarshi, Murli Sharma, Bhagyashree, Sathyan, and Riddhi Kumar.

On the career front, Prabhas has several interesting projects in his kitty including Adipurush, Salaar, and Spirit.
