Recently, former stand up comedian turned Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took to Twitter and announced that he is starting an anti-corruption helpline on Shaheed Diwas to make Punjab corruption-free. 

Sharing Mann’s tweet, Kapil Sharma wrote, “so proud of you paji”.

Reacting to Kapil’s appreciation for Mann, a troll accused the ace comedian of buttering up the newly appointed CM to get a Rajya Sabha ticket. The troll also accused former cricketer Harbhajan Singh of the same.  

His response read, “हरभजन की तरह राज्यसभा के टिकट के लिए मक्खन लगा रहे हो क्या ।” 

Kapil had a scathing response to the troll as he bashed him asking if he can arrange for a job for him. The comedian also added that he isn’t buttering up the CM but only hopes for the country to prosper. 

His tweet read, “बिलकुल नहीं मित्तल साहब, बस इतना सा ख़्वाब है कि देश तरक़्क़ी करे बाक़ी आप कहो तो आपकी नौकरी की लिए कहीं बात करूँ ?”

Soon after Kapil’s tweet, a lot of social media users wrote to him asking for a job. 

One user wrote, “Bhaiya meri Naukari ki baat kar lo Paida se berojgar Baitha hun kam Kuchh Bhi Ho Paisa Achcha Milana chahie bus”. 

Another wrote, “Kapil sir muhje job ki jarurat hai please job dila dijiye please sir”. 

One user requested, “पाजी नौकरी कि बात मेरे लिए कर लो,, बेरोजगारी वाले दुखभरे दिन चल रहे है”.

Recently, Kapil found himself in a controversy when filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri claimed that the comedian refused to invite The Kashmir Files team on The Kapil Sharma Show because it lacked big stars.

Anupam Kher later revealed in an interview that Kapil did invite him but he refused to go because the subject of The Kashmir Files isn’t suitable for a comedy show.
