India is the world’s largest ‘democracy’ and our citizens get to enjoy certain rights entitled to them, but the recent incidents and over-the-top reaction towards them has made us doubt whether we really enjoy those rights or are they mere illusion. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that our right to speech, expression and our right to question are being constantly threatened and the sad part is that the majority of people seem to be comfortable with it. It’s ironic that people become intolerant while discussing the issue of intolerance, proving the latter to stand stronger. 

Well, addressing the present issues, actor and comedian Vir Das in his latest ‘Potcast’ touched on his right to question and how some ‘bhakts’, who think they have some entitlement towards the leader because they support him, are trying to pull others down who are posing logical and very reasonable questions. In the awesome video, he asks people to think logically and pose questions without fear. This man does make sense, no matter who you support, one needs to think logically and not emotionally.
