The investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s unfortunate & untimely demise in 2020 was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for quick results. However, it’s been almost two years and no new information has been provided by the CBI.
Recently, an activist named Praffull Sarda filed an RTI in court asking the CBI for a response. Now, according to ANI, CBI has refused to provide any update on the same and has stated that any info provided about the progress in the case may impede the investigation.
A tweet by ANI read, " “Sushant Singh Rajput case is in the process of investigation, information about the progress may impede the process of investigation. Information requested cannot be provided," CBI in its reply to an RTI query”.

Naturally, the late actor's fans weren’t happy with the response and took to Twitter to express their disappointment.
One fan wrote, “Not again, CBI repeatedly giving same answers, with no investigation progress updates”.
Another wrote, “We are not going to quit on you @itsSSR #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput”.
