Rahul Gandhi, one of the most trolled guys on the internet experienced his official Twitter handle being hacked on Wednesday evening. There were a series of offensive and abusive tweets that were sent out to all of his 1.21 million followers.

The people responsible who hacked the account used the phrase ‘We are legion’, which is the slogan used by a hacktivist group called ‘Anonymous’. It is possible that the Indian offshoot of the hacktivist group might have been responsible for the hack.

Take notice that the group renamed the account to ‘Retarded Gandhi’ and Here are some of the tweets that were sent out:

Some of the tweets were being deleted a short while after they were posted. However, whoever hacked the account soon changed the bio of the handle.

Will Arvind Kejriwal be next? Although, he doesn’t need any hacking, though.
