Eating pizza everyday straight for a whole year sounds like an invitation to a lot of health problems, but this guy did it and is now healthier than when he began. Not only that, he, apparently, even lost almost 3 kgs while completing this challenge.

Brian Northrup ate a whole Domino's pizza every day for an entire year as part of his ‘PIZZAPOCALYPSE', and got ripped in the process, with abs and everything. How, just how? How can you eat one of the unhealthiest things in the world and still manage to lose weight and stay fit?
He basically embarked on this challenge to prove a point – diet isn't everything. While talking to UNILAD, he insisted that he had been doing the same thing before he started documenting his food intake and workouts.

He said, “I actually frame the relationship between my exercise and nutrition in a fundamentally different way than the conventional thought process. This was actually a major reason why I embarked on PIZZAPOCALYPSE in the first place.”

He added, “Burning off calories is not my reason for working out, to me that's putting the cart before the horse. Basically, I eat more in order to work out more – as opposed to working out more so that I can eat more.”
So philosophical!
But, according to him, that is more than just clever wordplay, this philosophy has helped him from being unable to run between classes to running over ten miles per day.
Marking the anniversary of his challenge, PIZZAPOCALYPSE, he documented his weight and compared it to the previous year. And, he did lose almost six pounds.

His social life wasn't that affected with this new diet, and he said that he still drinks whenever he wants, and will eat plenty of chicken wings and ice cream. He said, “The hard part, the part that has been a sacrifice, was going from not having a camera, or editing software (let alone knowing how to use it), around 13 months ago, to recording/editing/uploading/posting over 300 videos this past year. But I've never been big on going to bars or clubs or whatever, even in college.”

So, the main point he was trying to make was that everyone needs to stop seeing exercise as the enemy, and food and exercise don't always have to complement each other to get in better shape.
And, now it's up to us to learn something from this, or just use this as an excuse to stuff our faces with pizza. Nom, nom nom!
