Video games are getting a little too freakishly real!

Mindlessly blasting away at video game characters when they are looking at you with dead eyes and zombie like facial expression is still alright, but if the same characters appear to be expressing actual emotions and pain, it can get a little unnerving.

But, seems like we're getting quite close to that, going by this new demo for the Unreal Engine, and I honestly don't know how I feel about that.

However, the character in the demo doesn't quite escape the uncanny valley, the term used to describe computer-generated humans that ironically look fake as a result of being so close to photo-realistic.

But, the way the features on his face are able to flex and move, can be a little uncomfortable, but is also a perfect reminder of how far technology has come.
