The love for Punjabi culture is infectious and if you ask anyone to describe their Punjabi friend, then chances are they will unanimously shout βFUNβ, good food, a big heart, oodles of warmth and fuzzy hugs, crazy dance moves and forever smiling, as those are some stand-out traits of Punjabi people. Besides India, Canada is a hub where a βminiβ Punjab resides.

Something stupendous happened recently when Gurdeep Pandher, a Punjabi author and a resident of Whitehorse met the mayor and did something that any fun Punjabi friend would do. He taught the Mayor how to tie a turban and taught him a few Bhangra moves as well!
