When people say that Indian women are the most beautiful in the whole wide world, they mean it and we vouch for it. While beauty pageants are not the only means of measuring the value of our women in the world, they surely are a platform that allows you to make an impact. The 'Miss World' pageant is no different. While the entire country is celebrating the win of Manushi Chillar for getting the crown home, it's not the first time it has come to us.

 Ever since the winner was announced, everyone's trying to recall who the previous winners were. These are the gorgeous Indian women who brought the title home:

1. Reita Faria- She won the crown back in 1966 and unlike most beauty pageant winners who choose entertainment as a career option, she opted to pursue medicine. However, she stayed connected with judging beauty pageants.

2.  Aishwarya Rai- The entire planet is aware of her beauty. A super successful Bollywood run, a wonderful mother and a woman who chose to be associated with some stellar causes and used her fame for all the right reasons, Aishwarya still rules the heart of everyone.

3. Diana Hayden- She got the crown in 1997 and entered B-town for a short run. She is happily married now.

4. Yukta Mookhey- She won the title in 199, shortly after Diana. Her movies didn't really have a successful run at the box office so eventually she quit Bollywood.

5. Priyanka Chopra- Needs no recognition and continues being the 'desi' heartbeat for everyone. She is a megastar, a known name in Hollywood, on every channel and still stunning as always!

Manushi is the latest and the sixth beauty from our country who has made us super proud. The beautiful girl hails from Haryana and is pursuing MBBS as well. The list will hopefully grow in the future, until then, your knowledge has brushed up well.
