The seller on eBay is trying to sell the limited edition Steve Jobs iPhone 4s claiming that the phone is super rare since only 56 phones were made to honour the late founder. If you notice the back panel of the phone, the design pays homage to Steve Jobs by using a different logo.

Since the item went on sale, the pictures went viral and people started using the picture to make unlicensed memorabilia, posters and iPhone accessories.However, a Yahoo report suggests that a company called Goldgenie, which released the super rare iPhone 4s that commemorates Steve Jobs, had only made 56 of these devices.

However, after having a closer look at the pictures, one can deduce that it is not the same one that Goldgenie built. The phone made by Goldgenie had a gold-glass back panel and not a transparent one. So, before you decide to spend all your money on the phone listed on eBay, remember that it’s a fake.
