PM Modi's Tweet Missed A Comma & We Feel Bad For The Guy Who Probably Just Lost His Job

If you listen closely, you can actually hear someone getting fired. Do you want to know who the poor soul we're talking about is? The guy who handles – or rather, used to handle – Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Twitter account.

Yesterday, a tweet was posted on the Twitter account 'PMO India' with good intentions, but questionable grammar. The tweet was posted with regards to ensure quality healthcare for the poor. But, before we get to the poor, we cannot overlook the poor grammar.

Let us work together in providing the poor quality and affordable healthcare: PM @narendramodi https://t.co/1qKFcSzd6v

I just have only one thing to say –

PM Modi's Tweet Missed A Comma But Twitter Corrected It

This should shut up people who think punctuation is optional, because as you can see, without out innocent commas, the whole meaning changes.

PM Modi's Tweet Missed A Comma But Twitter Corrected It

In the tweet, just one missing comma, that should've gone after the word 'poor', just made things oh so wrong and very problematic. But, if anyone thought it was PM Modi's mistake, please check yourself before you wreck yourself. Don't even think that our honourable Prime Minister can even make such a mistake, he's the most respected man in the country and no one can make any false accusations against him.

PM Modi's Tweet Missed A Comma But Twitter Corrected It

It must be some poor guy, who probably is out of a job because of this unfortunate mistake, especially when people on Twitter did not waste any time pointing it out, because come on, correcting someone's grammar is one of the most pleasurable things in life. #CheapThrills

Let's have a look at all of the reactions –

Umm, no comments.

Poor quality and affordable healthcare?! Not surprising at all. #PakodaEffect #PakodaGormint

The truth is out? Nope, just bad grammar.

Finally you hv garnered courage to speak truth.... thanks for acknowledging that under your regime even health care is of poor quality ðð
