Sexism is deeper rooted in society than you’d think. It reflects in everything we do, the way we perceive things and more than anything else, the way we define strength and weakness in a person. “Don’t be a *****” is what we say to men when they fail to live up to our ideas of bravery and power. “Grow a pair” is what follows. Because balls equate to strength and a *****, to cowardice. And that is probably the worst analogy ever, since vaginas can literally push humans out and a slight kick in the nuts is all it takes to bring a man down to the ground.
