When the news of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth coming together for a movie started floating around, it was already written off to be a hit even before it started.  ‘2.0’ is being touted to be one of biggest sci-fi movies that India will watch.

Rajinikanth is essaying the role of Dr. Vaseegaran and Akshay will be the bad guy in the form of Dr. Richards.  It’s a known fact that big stars charge humungous amount for their projects and Akshay is known to have a cut in profits also, rumour has it that he is being paid more than Rajinikanth for this one.

Akshay is currently basking in the glory of a much deserved National award.  ‘2.0’ is a sequel to ‘Enthiran’ and will also star Amy Jackson.
