What Happened When Our Army Men Walked Into The Delhi Airport Has Filled Every Indians Heart With Joy

When we speak of the Indian army and the brave men out there, some warmth in heart, pride in our tone and immense respect comes naturally. Life in the cities goes smoothly because we have these brave soldiers guarding our borders. However, often times than not, we forget that out there somewhere, away from family and luxury, they too need our love, respect and we need to show it not just convey it.

In a recent speech, PM Modi urged the Indians to show heir love whenever possible. “Can we make effort slowly and develop a tradition to show respect to our defence forces?” he said. Call it a reminder, call it an appeal, the effect was already visible when our brave army men stepped in the Delhi airport. The crowd broke into impromptu applause and hooting.

The Indian troops were returning from a UN mission and the warm welcome did catch them by surprise, but a good one this time.

@majorgauravarya @amritabhinder I've started doing this for all soldiers & officers in Uniform, so have my kids! It's a great feeling to let someone know that we love them!

The next time you see a man in uniform, please go up to him and tell him how proud you are. Showing love and respect makes all the difference.
