This weekend turned out to be a very special day for the Indian film fraternity, when the who's who of Bollywood industry came together for the inauguration of India's very first cinema museum.
Called the National Museum of Indian Cinema, it was inaugurated by none other than PM Modi in Mumbai on Saturday. Multitudes of film and TV stars were in attendance at the event, right from veteran actors Manoj Kumar, Jeetendra to Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Dinesh Vijan, Kartik Aryan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, and even Kapil Sharma and Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, amongst others.
The wonderful city of Mumbai is now home to the excellent National Museum of Indian Cinema.

However, it isn't the inauguration which is getting all the attendance like it should, but rather the selfies and “backfies” with PM Modi after the event which has left the Internet in splits. Because of the many celebrities who attended the event, and given Prime Minister's tight schedule, some celebs didn't get the opportunity to get clicked with Modi, and they decided to make do with “backfies” instead.
So while Kapil Sharma got lucky and shared a few moments talking to the PM, what followed next was that we got to know that Modi also had a fanboy moment when Kapil Sharma posted a picture of the duo, and praised Modi's sense of humour.
Respected pm Sh @narendramodi ji,it was nice meeting u n great knowing ur inspiring ideas and progressive views about our film industry and our nation. N sir I must say u have a great sense of humor too! regards ð pic.twitter.com/2fDpGC2qwh
— KAPIL (@KapilSharmaK9) January 19, 2019Modi's response to this tweet is all the proof we need:
When @KapilSharmaK9 appreciates somebody's humour, it sure makes that person happy and I am no exception. :)
Thank you for the kind words Kapil. https://t.co/SHVTH6vI8p
However, unlike Kapil, other celebs didn't get the chance to click a selfie with the PM, and instead took consolation in a “backfie” with him. Imtiaz Ali posted the said backfie on Instagram, which was then reposted on Twitter by Kartik Aryan, and snap came Modi's witty reply.
Check out what they said:

PM Modi's pun-ny response to this backfie has left the internet in splits:
Not losers but Rockstars!
No selfie Jab We Met but there will always be another occasion. :) https://t.co/1Ud7D5jIvd
We say that it isn't just Kapil or Imtiaz who can crack a good joke, isn't it? Because PM Modi just owned it with his tweets.
