Yuzvendra Chahal & Rohit Sharma Introduce Us To The Backstage Heroes That Make Team India So Great

The Indian Cricket Team has been on a roll recently, overcoming every challenge that comes their way. Creating history during the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, by winning a Test series in Australia for the first time ever, followed by winning their first ever bilateral ODI series in Australia, the Men in Blue are looking stronger than ever.

Even individually, a lot of Indian cricketers are breaking records which were considered to be unbreakable. Their efforts are being recognised by the world, as the International Cricket Council showers Virat Kohli and his men with some of the most prestigious awards and honours.

For instance, the Indian skipper became the only player to bag top three ICC awards in a single year by winning the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for ICC Cricketer of the Year, the ICC Men's Test Player of the Year and the ICC ODI Player of the Year - for his performances in 2018. Other stars who bleed blue, including Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah were named as team members of ICC Test Team of the Year while Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav also made it to the ICC ODI Team of the Year.

The world is amazed by this young team of extremely talented players who seem to be fearless, indestructible and vulnerable to nothing.

Believe it or not, there exists a complete army which looks after the health and welfare of Kohli's boys. As Team India marches forward towards greatness every single day, these backstage heroes get lost in the middle and do not receive the recognition that they deserve.

It turns out that the Indian cricketers Yuzvendra Chahal and his sidekick Rohit Sharma (cameraman) felt the same way and decided to do something to bring these luminaries to the fore.

In the fourth episode of the all-new Chahal TV, the two cricketers give us a sneak-peek into the highly confidential fitness centre of the Indian cricket team and talk to their performance team led by Head Physiotherapist, Patrick Farhart along with the sports massage therapists Arun Kanade and Rajeev Kumar.

“People recognise us, the cricketers, but these are the people who put in a lot of effort to help us perform better,” says Chahal in his tribute to the dark horses.
