We are all aware of how hard the Indian Cricket Team is gearing up right now for the upcoming World Cup 2019 that begins in May, however, there are two other people who are also working on their batting skills. We're talking about Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan.

Katrina and Salman are currently filming their upcoming project, 'Bharat' and whenever the two get time, they start playing cricket with the crew. Honestly, watching the two playing on the film's sets can make anyone think that they are working on a sports biopic, but that's just their way of chilling after pack up. 

Earlier, Salman had posted the video of him playing cricket, with the caption "Bharat khelega..."

Today, Katrina posted a video of her playing cricket and let's admit it, she's pretty good at the sport. In fact, Katrina is so confident of her batting skills that she even asked her 'Zero' co-star Anushka Sharma to put in a small word for her to the team's captain, Virat Kohli. She wrote, "Pack up ke baad at Bharat sets, as the world cup nears. Anushka Sharma, perhaps you could put in a small word for me with the captain of the team. Some room for improvement in my swing, but overall not a bad all-rounder."

In fact, all this was happening with our Ranveer Singh rapping in the background. No, you won't find him in the video because he's not physically present in the video. It's his song 'Apna Time Aayega' from 'Gully Boy' that is playing in the video. 

While Anushka Sharma hasn't replied to the video yet, looks like Preity Zinta already wants to take Katrina in her IPL team. She wrote, "Wow, we should hire you" and Katrina replied saying, "Do it, come on let me play."

'Bharat' is said to be based on a Korean movie called 'An Ode To My Father' and is expected to release in June 2019.
