MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli Pull Off Balancing Acts On The Segway After India's Emphatic Win Over NZ

Following their historic outing in Australia, the Indian cricket team faced their next challenge in New Zealand where five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) awaited them. While many had backed the Indian brigade to come good, some had their doubts as beating the Kiwis in their own backyard could be tricky.

But, when the Virat Kohli-led brigade took the field in the first ODI at the McLean Park in Napier, the visitors made sure there was no lack of intensity or form from their outing Down Under. Asked to bowl first, the Indian team gave the hosts a run for their money with a brilliant bowling performance.

The likes of Kuldeep Yadav (4-39), Mohammed Shami (3-19) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2-43) hunted the Kiwis in a pack before bundling them out for a below-par total of 157 runs. For a strong batting side like India, the paltry total was never going to be a problem. And, as expected, the unbeaten knock of 75 runs by Shikhar Dhawan and another 45-run innings by Kohli ensured India notched up the total with eight wickets and 85 balls remaining.

While the Kiwis have a lot of learn from their defeat, the Indian team, with their emphatic win, once again reminded everyone the kind of form these guys have been in lately. Surely, it called for celebrations. But, since it was only the first ODI and there are still four more matches to go, the likes of Kohli and MS Dhoni decided to have some fun on the field.

The duo was seen enjoying the Segway rides following the post-match presentation at the McLean Park. While Dhoni looked calm and composed in his antics, Kohli was a bit more animated with his funny gestures. Needless to say, the Indian fans loved it and congratulated the team for their clinical performance.

Virat thought how could I run faster between wickets...problem solvedð
