Recently, 'Uri' and Vicky Kaushal achieved another milestone by entering the Rs. 150 crore club. The action drama war film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has fetched Rs. 157.38 crore in its third weekend.

In fact, Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri' has even surpassed 'Tanu Weds Manu: Returns' to become the highest-grossing mid-budget Hindi movie. 

'Uri' has also surpassed the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's 'Thugs Of Hindostan' (Rs. 151.19 crore), which released last year and failed to impress the audience.

'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is based on the Surgical Strikes that the Indian Army conducted in 2016 in Pakistan. The movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Mohit Raina and Rajit Kapur.
