Amitabh Bachchan is more than the superstar that he is on-screen. Fans have milling outside his Juhu mansion for years now, and the Sunday ritual holds a special place in the hearts of those hundreds of people and the veteran actor alike.
The reason why this admiration never ceases but only continues to grow, is simply because the actor is involved in a lot more than just movies and ad campaigns.
Sr. Bachchan is constantly involved in a number of social projects that don't stem from personal or commercial gains, and it is these actions that don't skip people's attention, urging them to fall deeper in love with the person that Amitabh Bachchan is.
Sr. Bachchan again stepped up his game with his recent appearance in a video with differently abled children, wherein all of them performed the National Anthem in sign language. The actor took to Twitter to retweet the video which was originally posted by a fan of AB.
The National Anthem .. our pride, our identity, our liberation, our belief, our self esteem .. BUT MUCH much MORE IN THE EYES OF THOSE, THAT CANNOT HEAR OR SPEAK !! .. my privilege, my honour .. my INDIAð®ð³ð®ð³ð®ð³ https://t.co/i9RTUS5PaT— Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) January 30, 2019
The video shows AB and the other kids in white, against the backdrop of the Red Fort, as the endearing rendition plays along with some of them joining him in the act, while others sang the national anthem in the background.
The peace and pride that the performance fills our hearts with, is simply touching, and other Twitter users haven't shied away from expressing their appreciation towards AB's association with this video which the actor said he was “honoured” to be a part of.
