Shaving might seem to be an extremely simple affair, but it's not. Every man has had bad experiences with shaving, at least once in his life, and it definitely is one of those experiences that one does not want a repeat of.

There is a correct way and a wrong way to shave, but the trouble is that no one quite knows which is which. You're supposed to glide your razor across your face in a specific direction, that has to do with the usual hair growth pattern on a human male face. Following that pattern will reduce cuts and burns significantly, and also make sure that the stubble that grows afterwards is flawless.

All you need to do is look at the face shave map here, and follow the arrows to determine the direction in which your razor should move. Make sure to rinse your razor after every stroke.
