It's a good day to be alive because we have a fresh new batch of tweets from Uday baba, who's done a good job in the past keeping us entertained with his witty (or not) Tweets.
This time Uday Chopra was deliberating one real profound and existential question we've all tried to seek answers to, in the past. His question was pertinent to the fact that is it okay to not believe in God in a country that's always exposed to a great deal of religion, rituals, languages and mythologies that are believed to stand true. He tweeted his query directly to his Twitter fans and said:
“Are we allowed to be Atheists in India?”

Well, to be absolutely honest, that's a fair question to ask if you're thoroughly confused if a bunch of beliefs are thrown at you on a daily basis, when you know you don't want to be a part of them. It does leave someone who is conflicted about his or her views on religion and God, a tad confused and if they want to seek an external opinion, so be it!
Upon reading Uday's Tweet, actor Farhan Akhtar gave his little witty remark, which was probably befitting to his question.
"God Knows", with an eyes rolled-up emoticon.
God knows. ð— Farhan Akhtar (@FarOutAkhtar) 23 March 2019
Well, that's funny but Uday Chopra went on to deliberate a little more on the topic. He wrote:
“People are fighting over each other's unproved imaginary beings and yet that's all ok but the moment one says I don't really believe in an an imaginary unprovable sky daddy, I'm the weird one.”

Did he just call God 'Sky daddy'? Well, yes, people are fighting over the unproved, imaginary sky daddy and I am sure that's created quite a conflict in the actor's head as he obviously doesn't believe in a so-called 'sky daddy'.
Here's a thought: you can hold a gun to my head a force me to believe in your god. I'll even say yes I do...cause let's face it I want to live, but how do you know what I really believe in my head? I don't think even your god knows, most likely cause it's imaginary— Uday Chopra (@udaychopra) 22 March 2019
It's been quite an existential day to deliberate over certain dilemmas in Uday's baba life. Although, his point is fair and reasonable, it could have been better articulated we feel. Even so, his Twitter fans definitely replied to his Tweet and shared their perspective.
