It was a normal day for Ryan at the gym when he heard a loud crash outside. He rushed out to see that a car had toppled and had pinned a man underneath, who was screaming for help.
He saw that four other men were unsuccessfully attempting to move the vehicle and he thought to himself that there was never going to be a better time than that moment where he could use his strength to save a life.
The Jeep vehicle weighed 2 tonnes and Ryan knew that he could move it enough to rescue the man.
He jumped right in and moved the vehicle enough to remove the victim from underneath. The injured man was rushed to the hospital and was admitted with internal bleeding.
The nurses said that had Ryan been not present there at that moment, the man would have not lived.
Reacting to the whole scenario, Ryan gave a statement to the local news saying, "I knew if I could swing the vehicle in a certain direction I could free him from that pole. So I just stuck my arms in and I just, I don't know, I just grabbed it and lifted up and started pushing."
