Shah Rukh Khan is also known as King Khan, not only because he is a tremendously good actor and rules over the hearts of millions of film lovers, but also because he is a true gentleman. 

Fans love him and swear by his words of wisdom. They take his words to heart and often treat him as a mentor.

That should not come as a shock because SRK is a great orator with a capability of stirring people's hearts with mere words and leaving a great impact on their minds. SRK might have just used this superpower for a great cause and the result is heartwarming.

Recently, as part of the Meer Foundation initiative, Shah Rukh met acid attack survivors before their corrective surgeries, however, that was not all. While interacting with these strong women (many of whom were also his fans), he also shared some personal insights on life and facing it head-on, that is absolutely inspiring!

SRK told the women to stay strong and live with their heads held high. He further told them that as long as they believed that they wanted to make something of themselves in life, the rest will fall in place.

He also underlined the importance of working for ourselves and being independent and said, “It's important for each one of us to make sure that we work for ourselves. We should do our own work without depending on another individual. Even if it's a small job, we should be fending for ourselves. And at the end of the day, we must be independent.”

Perhaps he doesn't know it, but we are sure that through this interaction SRK has touched many lives, and given many other survivors hope for the future. Shah Rukh Khan started the Meer foundation in 2017 and it focuses on improving the lives of acid-attack survivors.
