The final season of 'Game of Thrones' premiered yesterday amidst a lot of hullabaloos all over the globe. Known for its incredible cliff-hangers for the season finale(s), the first episode saw 'GoT' fans in the country waking up at 6:30 am to catch the episode before all the spoilers and theories clogged their social media feeds throughout the day.

According to an Evening Standard report, lead actors Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), who were taking home 500,000 US dollars per episode before season 8, have now received a good hike for the final season with an additional boost of 210,000 US dollars.
