A question that can have hundreds of answers but we still can't be sure if any of them are correct. It's so cruel that no one can for sure know what actually happens unless you die for real and the curiosity is honestly just too hard to deal with.

But, we have one concrete answer for the question, all thanks to the purest and most wholesome person ever - Keanu Reeves. 

Recently, he appeared on 'The Late Show With Stephen Colbert' and talked about his upcoming movie, 'Bill & Ted Face The Music'. Basically, the movie has the duo trying to write a song to save the entire universe and if they fail, “it's the end of the universe”.

To this, Stephen said,  “You're facing your own mortality and the mortality of all existence, wow.” Then, that was followed by a casual yet loaded question -  “What do you think happens when we die, Keanu Reeves?”

Instead of any funny or random answer, Keanu thought hard about it and gave the truest and most profound answer to the question that I've ever seen. He said, “I know that the ones who love us will miss us.”

So simple, yet so brilliant, Keanu literally left Stephen Colbert speechless, which is quite a rare thing for a talk-show host.

It gets even more meaningful when you know how much tragedy he's faced in his life. He lost his best friend when he was very young, then his baby daughter was stillborn and because of that, he also ended up losing the woman he loved.
