Since 1949 when the first unrest around the Ayodhya Ram Mandir - Babri Masjid broke out, the eventual demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992 by a group of Hindu activists of the Vishva Hindu Parishad and its allies, to this day when the Supreme Court's special five-judge bench announced that there will be no losers in this fight, it has been the focal point of national politics and emotions.
Just minutes ago, CJI Gogoi formally announced that a Ram Mandir will be constructed on the disputed Babri Masjid land, while a separate 5-acre land will be given for the construction of a masjid in the area.

We are overjoyed after waiting for 550 years and battling it out in courtrooms for 135 years.
Those who insulted Shri Ram for petty political gains must hang their heads in shame.
But it's also important to maintain peace and respect the other side. #AYODHYAVERDICT
People uphold the judgement.
Clear and decisive judgment that solves this longstanding problem. Special regard to the Supreme Court for accepting the evidence of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) that proved ancient temple existed on the site. #AYODHYAVERDICT #RamMandir

The #AYODHYAVERDICT was the last nail in the coffin of my dying trust in the judiciary.
