Recently, reports surfaced on the internet that Abhishek Bachchan is all set to play a negative role in the prequel of Kahaani.

Today the film's production team announced it officially. The film is titled Bob Biswas and will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.

Shah Rukh Khan also took to his Twitter and wrote, “#BobBiswas is coming to 'kill it!'  Happy to associate with Bound Script Production to bring #BobBiswas, played by @juniorbachchan and directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. @RedChilliesEnt “

The thriller drama will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan and we will see junior Bachchan in the leading role. Bob Biswas is the mysterious character from 'Kahaani' and the film will be revolving around it. Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Anurag Kashyap's 'Manmarziyaan' and the audience is excited to see him on the big screen again.

The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh's daughter Diya Ghosh and is supposed to be her directorial in Bollywood. Sujoy Ghosh tweeted saying, “need your blessings and good wishes... and a minute of your time #BobBiswas”
