Some things in life are not to be messed with. Under any circumstances. But unfortunately, some people don't get it and decide to let their adventurous sides get the better of themselves.

That's exactly what happened when a Reddit user decided to try a bizarre combo involving idli and tea. Not idli-sambar, idli-podi, idli-chutney but idli dipped in tea. The user shared an 8-second video of the adventure along with the caption, "Hello, I'm new to India. I hope I'm doing this right."

Err, new or not, the trick to trying new cuisines is to observe how people are eating it, or better yet, simply asking people how it is meant to be eaten! Why would anybody want to put Idli-lovers through such pain is beyond us.

Sure enough, people sharing similar sentiments began leaving comments letting the user know just how many people they have managed to unsettle with that 8-second video. From outright anger to passive-aggressive comments, there is a lot people had to say about it.
