A heartwarming video of an elderly man rescuing a cat has surfaced on the internet and is winning hearts.

In the video, we can see the cat has climbed on top of a tin roof over a shop, wherein it got stuck. One elderly man spotted the cat and decided to help. 

So, he took a chair and held it over his head so that the cat could jump on the chair and then could be freed. 

Soon, the cat jumped on the chair and ran away as soon as it was brought to the ground.

The video has already been viewed around nine lakh times on Facebook and has also created a lot of buzz on Twitter.
