Pakistani TV actor Ayeza Khan was offered to work in Bollywood and was also interested in grabbing the role, however, the opportunity was quashed after Pakistan and India relations worsened.

The Mere Paas Tum Ho actor disclosed this in an interview with host Ahsan Khan last year.

Ayeza, who is riding high with her controversial role in Mere Paas Tum Ho, said “I was contacted by director Imtiaz Ali for one of his films. I was interested in it too, however, due to deteriorated Pak-India relations it could not be possible.”

In the same program, Ahsan Khan revealed that Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali also wanted to cast Ayeza Khan in one of his films.

Bhansali had also been in talks about roping Ayeza Khan,  Ahsan added.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Mere Paas Tum Ho star has yet to work in any film from either of the neighboring countries. However, her fans are hopeful to see her on big screens soon.
