Foldable gadgets made their debut last year when Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy Fold. Since then, we have seen various new folding devices such as the new Motorola Razr. However, it is CES (Consumer Electronics Show) time and new products are being announced with new innovations.

Folding devices are big at CES this year, as a number of devices were announced that includes phones and laptops. This means that folding screens is just not a concept anymore as we are seeing multiple companies flirting with this new technology.

We've compiled a list of every foldable device that was showcased at CES this year and when you might be able to get your hands on it:

1. Dell Ori

While we may have been distracted by Dell's new Alienware UFO portable gaming PC that resembles a Nintendo Switch; the company also announced a foldable device. It is a big screen that folds at the centre and can be used in various ways. When using it as a laptop, the bottom screen transforms into a touch-screen keyboard.

It looks very similar to the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold and works like a stylus-enabled tablet PC. The Dell Ori is still a concept at the moment and the company has not made it clear when it will be available for purchase.

2. TCL Folding Phone

Samsung, Huawei and Motorola may have already shown off their folding smartphones but TCL has also shown off its foldable phone concept. This year, the Chinese company showcased a clamshell folding phone that has four back cameras and one large 7.1-inch display. From the picture, we can notice a crease that is a prevalent problem with folding screens at the moment. However, it is exciting to see a company apart from the usual big tech organisations innovating with their products.

3. Intel Horshoe Bend

We aren't entirely too sure you know the name, however, the Intel Horshoe Bend could be another product you might be interested in. It has a 17.3-inch display when folded and is powered by Intel's upcoming Tiger Lake processors. You can check out the full video by Intel to know more about the Horshoe Bend.

4. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Most of the foldable devices mentioned above are still in the concept stage, however, Lenovo announced a foldable device that will be available to buy later this year. The folding display has no noticeable crease, comes with a 13.3-inch 2K pOLED display, touch-screen keyboard, physical keyboard, 11-hour battery life and a price tag of $2,500.
