Anupam Kher has never been one to hold back when it comes to talking about national affairs and once again, he has voiced his strong opinions on the current state of unrest in the country, along with an 'appeal' to the entire nation. 

The government's controversial decision to introduce the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) triggered a wave of protests across the country, most of which have been led by students. The most recent development in the matter was the JNU attack, where students were attacked by alleged ABVP miscreants.

Along with the tweet, he also shared a video message where he calls out an unnamed section of people who are 'targeting BJP' by running campaigns like 'Chowkidar Chor Hai', 'Rafale scam', and are 'promoting intolerance', among other things.

He also added that the Modi government has always been asked to prove its credibility and has been questioned every step along the way, even for matters for the welfare of the country like the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, surgical strike, the Balakot airstrike, Triple Talaq and even the abrogation of Article 370.

After he voiced his opinions, people started to react to the same where some supported Kher while others mocked the actor for his thoughts.
