Normcore as a trend has been around for a long time. Actually, it has been around way longer than most people realise. However, only recently did we, as a society, actually started noticing it as a trend. 

A quirky but simplistic t-shirt, regular jeans and sneakers, coming to the forefront as mainstream fashion, is essentially what normcore means.

It seems that Saif Ali Khan is the latest B-Towner that has cracked the code on acing dad-fashion and normcore, and we have to say, thatâs one zany way to go about this.

Recently, while promoting his upcoming film, Jawaani Jaaneman, Saif was spotted in a seemingly-mundane and basic, laidback outfits. However, we think that the ensemble was a quirky example of dad-style at its zaniest best.

First, thereâs the t-shirt itself. The black t-shirt that Saif is wearing is rather simplistic and primarily stands out because of the logo of the Ramones, a punk rock band from the United States. 

With Saif himself being a massive bass head and rock fanatic, we wonder if this is a sly way of paying homage to a rock band from the â70s. Such a cool-dad thing to do.

Then there are the tattered denim jeans, with their dirty spots, and heavy wash. The folded, and seemingly shredded cuffs are actually unusual, just like the relaxed fit of the jeans. With that being said, they do look cool and dope.

Finally, there are the sneakers themselves that Saifâs wearing. Saif is wearing a pair of extremely dirty and soiled pair of Nike Air Force 1s, in their âHyper Jadeâ shade. The sneakers brand new look dope and cool, but in this jaded condition that Saif has them in, they are way cooler.

And we seriously cannot miss those quirky yellow glasses and the Mumbaiya tapori styled manner in which he has tied a red handkerchief. Really, a zany AF way to accessorise with panache.

With a quintessentially dad-style ensemble as cool as this one, we have to say, Taimur has a lot to live up to when he grows up.
