Jaaved Jaaferis Response To Troll Who Asked Him To Leave India Is Simply Boht Hard

Ever since the CAA and NRC were announced in India by the Government, the nation has been witnessing a state of turbulence, finding itself divided into two ideologies - one that supports it and the other that totally shuns it.

Just recently, comedian Jaaved Jaaferi shared a piece of news on social media that talked of a resolution moved in Europe against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

A Twitter user condemned his post saying, âWhy donât you move to Europe. We donât need traitors in our nation.â

Why don't you move to Europe. We don't need traitors in our nation

On this, Jaaved responded, âYOUR nation ??? Kab kharida aapne ma'am ?? Last time I read the constitution it spoke of democracy, equality, and right to dissent. Wouldnât know if you have made any changes privately though..kindly update.â

Former Member of Parliament and BJP leader Narendra Swaikar also replied to Jaavedâs tweet, âClap Mr. Jaaved. How does it matter? I hope you are aware we are an independent, sovereign Republic. Indians will do whatever that is in their interest & the nation. @jaavedjaaferi,â

The two, then, indulged further in a banter that just got more intense.
Take a look at it:

sir if international perceptions of India donât âmatterâthn why ws respected pm travelling all over the world trying to convince them to invest in India ? Am very much aware of what India is and what damage CAA combined with NRC can do to its constitutional foundation.

â Jaaved Jaaferi (@jaavedjaaferi) January 28, 2020

CAA has been passed. Not NRC. So why discuss NRC? Issue of Constitutionalty is before SC. Lets wait for the outcome. Why jump to conclusions?

you actually believe that the NPR- CAA-NRC are not linked ???
And are we really wanting changes in the amazing constitutions 14,15,16?
Why discriminate when we have always subscribed to Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava ? 1/2

& if itâs really about âpersecuted minoritiesâ in the neighbrhood, what about Tamils in Lanka, Buddhists-Tibet, Hazaraâs-Afghanistan, Ahmediâs n Shia-Pak, Rohingyaâs-Myanmar, Uighurs-China?? Afghanistan has a 100km border while China has a 3600km border wth India 2/2

Talking about the current scenario in the nation, there have been multiple protests and demonstrations from students, mostly from Jamia Millia Islamia and Jawaharlal Nehru University. The students have been expressing their displeasure over the current CAA argument.

Following the protests, many Bollywood celebs have also spoken on the matter, asserting how they do not approve of the violence in the country.
