Mumbaikars To Burn Modern-Day Demon Coronasur Instead Of Holika & People Think Its Hilarious
The novel coronavirus has infected around 1,10,110 people across the globe and scientists have been finding it difficult to find a cure to it so far.
However, recently, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that the deadly virus can be prevented by doing Yoga regularly and Hindu Mahasabha also recently called the epidemic not a virus but an angry âavatarâ to punish non-vegetarians.

With the rising fear of coronavirus amongst people, the virus has become a modern-day demon scaring people all across the globe. Well now, a few residents of Mumbai have decided to give this virus a face and burn it symbolically.
Instead of Holika Dahan, these people will burn the effigy of the virus that they are calling âcoronasurâ.
Recently, a picture of âcoronasurâ was shared by ANI on Twitter with a caption that read, âAn effigy based on the theme of #CoronaVirus has been put up in Worli, ahead of âHolika Dahanâ today.â

According to Indian Express, sporting events such as the NBA and cricket have also restricted players from shaking hands which makes sense as the outbreak is increasing each passing day.
