The world is becoming a weird place by the day. Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that a film that was basically shot like a high budget softcore porn film like 365 Days would find a platform on Netflix. We also couldnât have imagined that the movie would get such a fan following and be so popular.

If youâve seen the film, you pretty much know why exactly the film is so popular. The erotic thriller, in spite of having a Rotten Tomato score of just 30 per cent currently tops Netflixâs most-watched list. This all thanks to the extremely realistic lovemaking sequences in the film, which, actually is most of the film. Certainly not something that you would like to watch with your family.

This got us thinking, what are some other films like 365 Days that one can watch. Turns out, there are quite a few risque films like 365 Days, that are actually good films, and have a story, great cinematography. You know, other aspects than two people going at it. We selected 6 other films that are as titillating but with better stories, and are better made.

1. Don Jon

Joseph Gordon-Levitt wrote, directed and played the lead in this American rom-com film. Staring Scarlett Johansson, and Julianne Moore, the film is revolves around a character who is addicted to porn, inpsite of having a rather hyperactive *** life.

2. Fifty Shades Of Grey

This one just had to make the list. The Fifty Shades books were all everyone was talking about in the early to mid 2010s. Naturally, the film too had piqued everyoneâs interest. Starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan the film, apart from some really steamy lovemaking sequences, actually has a decent story. Plus, the cinematography is great as well.

3. Addicted

Addicted is actually a good erotic thriller. Although the film starts off rather novicely, and shows a rather happy setting of a family, it takes on a darker turn through the fault lines that modern day familial relationships have developed. 

4. White Girl

White Girl is a very dark erotic thriller, that frankly gets a little disturbing at times. Leah, the protaganist of the film picks up a drug habit, and falls in love with her dealer. What ensues is a gory, but beautifully shot series of sequences that shows why, certain kinds of highs are best if avoided.

5. Nymphomaniac Volume 1 & 2

The final part of Lars Von Trier's Depression trilogy, Nymphomaniac was preceded by Antichrist and Melancholia, two of the most disturbing films ever to have been made. Nymphomaniac follows the story of a woman whoâs a diagnosed nymphomaniac, who recounts her rather adventurous life. The reason why we recommend watching the films, is because it actually lays bare the fact just how complicated and ultimately, conventional human relationships can get. And yes, of course, there are tons of steamy scenes which further extend the hypothesis that the trilogy tries to put forth.

6. Cruel Intentions

The first Cruel Intentions, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon will genuinely go down as a classic. The film isnât as much of a thriller as it is a drama. However, that does not take away from the fact that it is rather raunchy, and slightly unnerving at times.
