Vince McMahon Threatened To Buy The F*cking Plane When Told To Stop Fighting Kurt Angle In Air

WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is considered to be a controversial businessman who has had to answer some unimaginable questions when he was actively involved in the numerous storylines WWE used to prepare for their superstars.

However, off camera, if you ask some of the biggest wrestlers of the company, both retired and currently performing, they would tell you how incredible and passionate of a man he is, especially when it comes to pro-wrestling.

All time great, Kurt Angle spoke about one of his fondest memories with the mastermind McMahon in an interview with a wrestling YouTube channel Inside The Ropes. It was a story from the early 2000s in which some of the elite-level performers of the show, including the Undertaker, the Hardy Boys and Chris Jericho were flying in a private jet hired by their boss who was sitting at the front end of the plane.

âI remember when he wanted to wrestle me on an airplane and we had a seven-hour wrestling feud that just kept going on and on," Angle said. "He would jump on me and weâd wrestle and Iâd get him to the ground and heâd say, âokay okay let me up,â and heâd go back and sit down and then ten minutes later heâd jump on me again."

Angle continued, "It was a long plane ride and it was just Vince drinking wine and wrestling me. Iâll never forget at one point, the flight attendant came back and said âIf you guys donât stop heâs going to ground this plane and you guys are going to get kicked offâ. And Vince said to him âTell the pilot to go f himself, Iâll buy the f*ing planeâ.

"Thatâs just Vince, he likes to have fun and he likes to be challenged at every aspect of his life. Heâs not just a very responsible owner of one of the biggest companies in the world, heâs a big kid, he likes to have fun, and he likes competition," Angle said.

He added, "When we were landing the plane, right when we touched ground, Chris Jericho was sitting behind me and said âKurt look in the aisleâ and I looked in the aisle and Vince was army crawling to jump on me again. He wasnât going to quit until this plane was landed and we got off it. It was a long trip, I didnât get any sleep and Vince had the time of his life. He never took me down, no.

âIf he claims he does heâs lying. I donât think he would do that but let me tell you this: Vince is one tough son of a gun. He likes to be challenged. Heâs one of those guys who would go up to Mike Tyson and say âPunch me as hard as you canâ because he wants to feel it. Heâs that kind of individual. He wants to experience the best. Vince is a rare breed."

Even though Vince did not need to put his body on the line and get slammed around by giant men like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, he did it for two reasons. One, it got some excellent reactions from the crowd who were booing him more than half the time and two, he simply loved the feeling of personally getting involved in a âwrestling matchâ.
