Congress MP Shashi Tharoor recently, started a Twitter war with Anupam Kher when he re-tweeted an 8-year-old tweet of the veteran actor who is also a BJP supporter.

The tweet posted by Anupam Kher in 2012 reads, âA patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government.â

Shashi Tharoor re-tweeted the post and wrote, "Thanks @AnupamPKher. Agree with you totally here. "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it (~Mark Twain)."

This tweet triggered a war on Twitter between the two and Kher responded by saying in Hindi, "You searched for my 2012 tweet, commented on it. This is a sign of joblessness and one that of a weak mind. This proves you have stooped low. My tweet is still relevant for the corrupt. You know it."

This is not the first time that the two have gotten indulged in a Twitter fight. Earlier in 2016, both of them got into a Twitter brawl when Anupam Kher didnât want to openly say that he is a Hindu and the exchange of tweets turned ugly back then as well.
