Mumbai Police's 'Dark' Series Reference Post To Spread Important Message Leaves People Impressed

Mumbai Police has always had its Twitter game on point with its creative and witty tweets to spread awareness on social issues. The interesting thing is they use pop culture references and funny memes to put forth advisory messages which is, TBH, the best way to get people to actually listen. They are relatable and fun, and can even reach a larger audience. This time too they have done it right. Mumbai police has now used a reference from a popular web series, Dark, to send out an essential advisory message.

It is basically a note of caution that everyone should follow to stay safe in the current situation, especially when the COVID-19 cases are increasing on a daily basis.Taking the creativity to another level, they shared an image with a message which contains a reference from the German science fiction thriller series Dark.

Here, take a look:

Question - Is it okay to share masks?

Answer- Absolutely not. Itâs a #Dark habit pic.twitter.com/kiTsdBlIpR

â Mumbai Police (@MumbaiPolice) July 2, 2020

Emphasising on the importance of staying safe and not sharing masks, they wrote, âIs it okay to share masks?â Then they added the answer, âAbsolutely not. Itâs a #Dark habit.â Well, it sure can turn dark as there is a high probability of catching infection if we share the mask we are wearing with someone else or use theirs.

People on Twitter took notice of their creativity and flooded the post with appreciative comments.

I just love the @MumbaiPolice media team. Great ideas
