We have often said that if you play your cards right, and know what you’re doing, you can actually invest in sneakers and make good money. Well, Rannvijay Singha seems to have cracked the code for it.

Rannvijay is one of India’s most underrated sneakerheads in India. Unlike most sneaker collectors that we see in tinsel town, he actually knows what sets certain sneaker collections apart from the others. In short, he knows his Jordan 4s from his Jordan 7s.

Recently, he was spotted wearing a rather dope pair of sneakers, ones that were inspired by Bruce Lee, and boy can we say, he would have been proud to have such a pair dedicated to him.

They even had the famous, “Bruce Lee Scar” - that 4 striped-scars that he made famous, in his immortal fight sequences.

These sneakers are from the collaboration between Nike & Kyrie Irving, the latest athlete in NBA history who have a collaboration with sportswear maker. The sneakers in question are called the Nike Kyrie 6 “Bruce Lee” in Comet Red. Although the sneakers are basically a red and black pair, it is the orange stripes that make them so interesting and appealing.

These sneakers were launched as a limited edition drop, barely a few weeks ago. Naturally, the sneakers flew off the shelves like hot cake and soon were rendered out of stock. The sneakers were launched at a price of $140 or roughly 10,000.

A few weeks later, they are selling for about $780 as per StockX, a sneaker reselling and trading website. That is roughly 6 times the original price. That converts to nearly Rs 60,000.

Limited edition sneakers have been known to jump up exorbitantly high in price, in the past. Ranbir Kapoor, for example, was recently spotted wearing a pair of sneakers, that initially sold for about Rs 14,000, but today has a resale value of over Rs 2.6 Lakhs.

We know that Rannvijay is a purist, and given his vast and mesmerising collection, he isn’t going to flip them. Nevertheless, he does know how to pick his sneakers.
