Unless you’re living under a rock, or totally cut off from civilisation, you’d know what a big deal Mukesh Ambani is, especially here in India. Mukesh Ambani and his Reliance industries are literally everywhere.

There isn’t an industry they haven’t tapped into, and turned into a goldmine of money-spitting furnaces. Right from telecom and mining to education, retail, entertainment, food and even sports, they are spearheading numerous industrial revolutions in India and abroad.

So obviously, it no longer comes as a surprise that Mukesh Ambani has yet again been declared the richest Indian man in the Forbes India Rich List 2020. That’s not all, Mukesh Ambani has made it to the list for the 13th consecutive time!

Chuck that, what’s even more appalling is the gap in his wealth and that of the second richest Indian man Gautam Adani. With a net worth of $88.7 billion, Mukesh Ambani’s wealth deposits exceed Adani’s $25.2 billion by more than three times!

With a 73% rise in his net worth despite an ongoing pandemic and global economic slowdown, there simply is no comparison because Mukesh Ambani seems to be way ahead in the race, as well as in market domination, as compared to his fellow counterparts on India’s richest list.

The other three Indians to make it to the top five on the list are HCL Technologies founder Shiv Nadar in third place with a net worth of $20.4 billion. DMart's Radhakishan Damani is the 4th richest with $15.4 billion, followed by Hinduja Brothers with $12.8 billion.
