Uddhav Thackeray Calls Kangana Ranaut A ‘Namakharam’ & People Side With The 'Queen' Actor

During his Dussehra address, Uddhav Thackeray made an indirect remark on Kangana Ranaut for the 'Mumbai is PoK' analogy and portraying the city as the city of drug addicts. He said, “Someone said Mumbai is like PoK... they come to Mumbai for work and then defame the city. This amounts to namak harami.”

He also went on to add, “A narrative has been painted to show that the entire city and the state is a drug haven. Everyone here is a drug addict. Any attempt to defame Mumbai and the state will be dealt with strictly.” It didn’t stop here as he blamed Kangana’s city for having drugs and not Maharashtra.

This irked Kangana and she slammed Uddhav in a series of tweets. Kangana took a jibe at the CM and wrote, “Chief Minister you are a very petty person, Himachal is called Dev Bhumi it has the maximum number of temples also no zero crime rate, yes it has a very fertile land it grows apples, kiwis, pomegranate, strawberries one can grow anything here.” She also added, “You being a leader having such a vengeful, myopic and ill-informed views about a state which has been the abode of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati along with many great saints like Markandya and Manu Rishi, Pandavas spent a large part of their exile in Himachal Pardesh.”

Here’s a look at the tweets:

Raut called me Haramkhor now Uddhav called me namak haram, he is claiming I won’t get food in my state if Mumbai does not give me shelter, shame on you I am your son’s age this is how you speak to a self made single woman, Chief Minister you are the worse product of nepotism. https://t.co/uV5RCf3R0W

Chief Minister I am not drunk on my father’s power and wealth like you, if I wanted to be a nepotism product I could have stayed back in Himachal, I hail from a renowned family, I didn’t want to live off on their wealth and favours, some people have self respect and self worth.

She has also addressed him through a video message and said, “Being a Chief Minister, you have tried to shame an entire state because you are upset with a girl, who is of your son's age.”

Here’s her message:

It was right after this that people started to slam the Maharashtra CM and chose to support the Queen actor.

How can a public servant speak in such language and twist the democracy.
Need to throw him out of his office immediately.
He has already created irreparable damage to his party and injustice to his great father

Abusing a lady who is fighting against the injustice and disrespecting an entire culture and state is shameful beyond words

As the war of words continues to get murkier, whose side are you on: Kangana or Uddhav Thackeray?
