When it comes to English, we have all thought that one-upping and impressing Shashi Tharoor is the most impossible thing in the world. This has been accepted as a fact for years now.

I mean, the words this man uses has made us literally Google them to find out what the hell is he talking about on multiple occasions.

However, turns out, that someone has done the impossible, someone has managed to impress Shashi Tharoor with words that even he did not know of. And, that someone is reportedly just in 10th grade right now.

Recently, the politician appeared on a segment on Club FM, a private FM radio station in Kerala, hosted by RJ Rafi where he was on a Zoom call with a young girl named Diya.

Apparently, Diya had earlier messaged him on Facebook, asking him to pronounce a super-long word. When she managed to pronounce the tongue twister of word with no complications, all he could ask was, "Which means?"

She informed him that it is the name of a fictional food item. Being utterly impressed, he said, "It's not a small thing to remember and repeat the word. Everyone wouldn't be able to do it. She has memory power. She has the concentration. My advice is: learn such long words which you can make use of."

[Malayalam] Wonderful story of brilliant 10th-grader Diya, who has mastered tongue-twisting English words I've never heard of, & for whom I made a surprise appearance during a @clubfmkerala show on her prowess!https://t.co/INEwhtYwtq

Wholesome stuff.

That was a sweet and encouraging gesture from you
Wonderful Diya, best wishes.
Felt sad when electricity issues happened during the talk.

God bless, yes.

Great show in having enthused a 10th grader. That's one reason why we like you. You enthuse. God bless.

It won't be but she can do it.

All the best to you, Diya! She's not just a hard-core fan of Shashi Tharoor, she aspires to be like him one day! Not going to be cake walk though. https://t.co/BhMQlhxyNl
